Mahmoud Adam Jama GALAAL
Mohamoud Adan Jama (Galal) currently serves as the Representative of the Republic of Somaliland to Taiwan, a position he has held since January 2025.
Representative Jama is a senior statesman with extensive experience in foreign affairs and national governance. He previously served as Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, where he was instrumental in enhancing bilateral relations and led high-level negotiations culminating in the 2015 Dire Dawa Agreement. He also held cabinet-level positions as State Minister for Health and State Minister for Planning and National Development, where he contributed to the formulation of national development policies and spearheaded key healthcare and infrastructure initiatives, particularly in underserved regions.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Middlesex University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Buckingham.
